CHINESE NEW YEAR - Year of The Dragon

  Each year I create an artwork in keeping with the tradition of Chinese New Year.   Cross-curriculum priorities   - the cross-curriculum priorities are: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures  Asia and Australia's engagement with Asia  Sustainability. VISUAL ARTS OUTCOMES Stage 3   VISUAL ARTS OUTCOMES STAGE 3 - MAKING     VAS3.1 Investigates subject matter in an attempt to represent likenesses in the world.   VAS3.2 Makes artworks for different audiences, assembling materials in a variety of ways.   VISUAL ARTS OUTCOMES STAGE 3 – APPRECIATION     VAS3.3 Acknowledges that audiences respond in different ways to artworks and that there are different opinions about the value of artworks.   VAS3.4 Communicates about the ways in which subject matter is represented in artworks. VISUAL ARTS OUTCOMES Stage 2   VISUAL ARTS OUTCOMES STAGE 2 - MAKING     VAS2.1 Represents the qualities of experiences and things that are interesting or beautiful by choosing among aspects

LATEST NEWS.....

  Hello Peoples....I just wanted to let everyone know that I am taking some time out from teaching and my blog will go quiet for a tiny bit. I will be continuing to create new artworks and posting them, but unfortunately, I won't have student sample artworks to show you. I will be returning to work in 2024 and I am looking forward to that already. Best wishes to everyone who has supported me throughout 2023, and I hope my blog continues to assist you in some way.
