The Art Lady

  This is an artwork that I quickly created by modifying a previous artwork - Spots, Stripes and Patches. I have had this class previously and they can all draw quite well.  So, this was a bit a challenge for them. I think they were very successful. Apologies for the quality of some of some of the pics taken as they do not di justice the how the artwork actually looked. Well done to Year 4 Amber at Jordan Springs Public School......

  I posted this artwork on June 19th as Aboriginal Art - Kangaroo, and I was keen to present to students. Year 4 Amber at Jordan Springs Public School out did themselves, their artworks are just beautiful. Not everyone got finished in time, but even without the background not attempted, they still look great. I must commend the students of Year 4 Amber, what a wonderful group of young people. I had just the best day with them, thank you.

  This artworks was posted on June 19th, 2023 and I was able to present it to students as a two-hour art workshop. I must say we were rushed for time, but the students did a great job and everyone completed their artwork in time. I didn't take a pic of every artwork as there were over 60 by the end of the day. They were completed on A3 black paper (background) with oil pastel. NOTE: Students were not allowed to use black or white - white was used in the eyes and black was used for final outlining. Students had to work with only two colours at a time and we started with the face, then the body. The backaground was also in only two colours. Here is just a sample.....I love them!!!!!  

  This is new artwork just created and I am looking forward to presenting it to students. I have provided ALL the Resources Images and Instructions with my sample artworks. It is a long post.
