DOGS - Oil Crayons into Oil Paints

 
   My inspiration for this artwork were paintings created by the artist, Kate Hoyer. Love her work.
   Instead of using oil paints to create the artwork, I used oil crayons (oil pastels)  with baby oil. Applying the baby oil over the oil crayons creates a smooth appearance. Different techniques in applying the baby oil can create different textural surfaces but I wanted a smooth, sleek surface.
   The background to the dog oil painting is another artwork in itself. Following are all the instructions.....
