TEACHING RESOURCE - CLAY WORK BOOKLET - BASIC INFORMATION

I put together a booklet for the staff of the primary school I work in. They were wanting to learn about clay and some ideas of what they could do with their students.

Following are pages from the booklet in jpeg format. Feel free to use it or any part of it. I collected information and ideas from Pinterest and there is no intention of claiming any of the ideas or sculpture works as my own. Full credit goes to those talented and creative people who created them, including Kimmy CantrellI have included my own clay work relief sculpture plate at the end......

I will be adding more ideas to this booklet as I come across them....

  1. Hey, all your lessons look great - but those images for the slab masks are almost exactly like Kimmy Cantrell. You should maybe give him credit instead.

  2. On the post, I did acknowledge all the talented and creative people who made things that I used. I did not know it was Kimmy Cantrell who made the slab masks which is why my acknowledgement was pretty genetric. My apologies if anyone was offended by the omission of his name.

  3. Thank you so much for being so kind as to share your ideas...I get tired of doing the same things and I think my 5th graders would love doing the frogs!!

  4. I couldn't resist adding the Cavallini Mug to my collection when I just saw it at a local store when browsing for nice Homewares near me. I love starting my day with a cup of coffee adorned with these antique graphics; they're so lovely. This mug is more than simply a cup; it is a delightful work of art that brightens my day. These mugs are essential to any cookware set since they are aesthetically pleasing and efficient. They provide a touch of class and functionality to any house.
