STUDENT ARTWORKS - Aussie Animals in Aboriginal Art

I love doing this artworks with the students for a number of reasons:

1. They get to use the grid drawing technique to create accurate proportions. (cross-curriculum link with Mathematics - enlarging an image by 100%)

2. Use lines to create "simulated texture" allows them to achieve elements of realism.

3. Come away from the artmaking experience with an artwork that they are so proud of.

Following are artworks created by students at Windsor Park Public, Years 5/6. They are so good.
