CONTIUOUS LINE DRAWING - Art Activity

     I made a continuous line artwork lesson a long time ago using portraits/people. But I have been teaching 2 classes a day sometimes, I needed an artwork that was easy, fun, looked good and didn't require a load of equipment for me to drag around from room to room.     I will use this artwork with Stage 2 and 3 as quick lessons, and I think it would work ok with Year 1 and 2 students as well.    The best thing about continuous line drawing is if the subject matter is distorted, not realistic, then that's a good thing. Students are more self-confident if they don't have to worry about their supposed lack of drawing ability.    This artworks is A3 in size and took me 3 hours from start to finish. It looks better as an A3. Of course, if it is done as an A4, the time required is much less, it all depends on your time restrictions.    It's a good "ice breaker" activity to do with a "tough" group of students as well.
