MOTHER'S DAY ARTWORK - Mum's in School Initiative

At one of the primary schools in which I do volunteer and casual work, they have an initiative whereby the mothers of students are invited to attend school for 2 hours in the morning.
I was asked to run a workshop and we decided to focus on Mother's Day.
After the success of my Painted Monsters art lesson, we agreed on a small painting using a printed black and white image of flowers on canvas. A coloured Resource Image was also provided to guide the student and his/her Mum with their paint application and toning.

Printed onto A4 sized primed canvas. Each artwork is A5 in size.

Once the painting stage is completed, we will add some lines with black markers, fine Artline and Pocsa pens.

ARTWORKS TO FOLLOW.......
We didn't get the artwork finished during the set session, so we decided to finish them off at a later date (the following Friday). The students are doing such a wonderful job that we didn't want to rush them.......
