STUDENT ARTWORKS - LIVING TOGETHER - Cartography Drawing for Primary and High School Students

A wonderful day today. The students created beautiful drawings of the green and golden bell frog, learnt about where this frog lives and how important it is to maintain its population, as it thought to be extinct. It was rediscovered in 2000 when work began at the brick pits in Sydney, Australian, to build the tennis courts for the Olympic Games.
Well done to the students of Year 5/6 at South Windsor Public School. It was really nice to be back with you all.
There is a variation to the artwork that was created. The original border using posca pens and metallic paint pens, was replaced with green and golden coloured paper torn into pieces to simulate the patterns on the green and golden bell frog.
Students then added organic shapes with black markers and fine tip pens. Additional detail was then added with metallic paint pens in the form of stippling. This  last Step is optional and I think that when I do this artwork again, I will leave off the stippling effect.
