I AM A QUOKKA - Sponge Painting

This is going to be a long post as I am including everything needed to complete the artwork. I think the kids will love doing this as it uses only sponges, no paintbrushes, pieces of thick cardboard and black markers.

If I were to do this with Kindy, Year 1 and Year 2 kiddlings, I think I would copy the line drawings of quokkas onto A3 watercolour paper as lesson prep and then they can just complete the artwork from there.
The older kids, of course, would draw their own quokka onto watercolour paper using the Resource Images.
I apologise for the poor quality of the sample artworks. I forgot to snap a pic before I laminated it and the image is affected by light reflections. Sorry.
