Mythological Creatures


RESOURCE DRAWINGS:
1. Students are to make small drawings of animal and machinery parts: types of feet, legs, heads, etc. These drawings are to be done in their art books.
2. Students are to create a minimum of 3 designs by putting together different body parts.
ARTWORK:
3. Select the best of your 3 designs and draw it up onto A3 art paper or in your art book. Make sure you include a background that shows where your new creature lives (its habitat).
4. Include some information about your new creature.
5. Make sure you give your creature a name.
 

 
 
  6.Completed using watercolour pencils – colour the entire drawing, no black.
  7. Apply water to the drawing, washing the brush when changing colours to keep colours clean and bright.
8. When the artwork is dry, trace over your work black markers. This will re-establish your drawing.
