Textiles - Octopus

I drew an octopus onto 100% cotton fabric with a lead pencil. I then adhered it to thin quilting wadding with a backing. I sewed the image with straight stitch using my quilting foot. The background is quilted with a meandering line and some bubbles.
I used fabric markers to colour the entire image, employing the wet-on-wet technique to blend colours. I used a white Posca pen (fine tip) to create highlight areas.
